I was planning on re-opening today! It is not going to happen. I have been so utterly swamped at my job, that I have had no time for my crafting. Here is the BIG bummer - that means little to no Valentines wreaths this year :(
Don't worry, I have some scheduled giveaways with other bloggers, but I just can't commit the time to put them in the shop. I am very sad about this, but I need to pace myself.

Instead of Music Monday today, I wanted to write about something on my heart.
So here we go...
Friends.This word is usedvery lightly, which I feel lessens the value of the meaningI think quote belowholds much more truth than people believe:
Friends are thepeople you turn to when you want to share the best news or worst news.They are the onesthat wipe away your tears as you cry.They are the onesthat honestly tell you if something does NOT look good on you.They are the firstpeople to plan a celebration in your honor.They are willing tocome pick you up at 2am hours away when you were left stranded.They are the onesthat stick up for you.They don’t alwaystake your side, but offer the flip side to make you see the whole picture.They are the ones youcan tell your deepest darkest secrets to.They are the onesthat keep that secret in their hearts and take it with them to the grave.They are the onesthat never judge.They accept yourbeliefs, even if they are not the same.They let you fall,but help you get back up.They are your biggestsupport group and cheerleaders.They understand you,even when you don’t understand yourself.They are genuinelyhappy for you and your accomplishments.They are honest,truthful and respectful.They aren’t alwaysthe people you have known the longest or called the most.They are the familyyou choose.
This post was inspiredby 3 people I saw this past week/weekend.They are 3 of my bestfriends.I don’t see or talkto them daily or sometimes even weekly.We try for monthly.When we hang out itis like no time has passed.They know me betterthan I know myself.The push me to bebest person I can possibly be.Now, I am not goingto lie.There were fallouts.There were tears.There was sadness.There were explanationsand apologies.And there are newbridges being built in the place of old broken ones.They forgive.
They inspire.They understand.They love.
They don't judge.They trust.They care.They influencepositively.I most definitely wouldconsider them Family.They are the people Ichoose to be around.
