Gem Crush and Sephora Foundation

I recently received a new nail polish and I just used it the other day... it's now my new favorite! The color is Be-jeweled by Sally Hansen Gem Crush collection. The below picture shows two layers of the purple and pink sparkled Be-jeweled color with one top coat of Essie light pink sparkles. For being a sparkle polish, it goes on in a fairly solid layer with two coats you'd be set (no blank nail showing). The only issue I had with the polish is that it peeled off very quickly (second day); I believe it may have done this due to the Seche Vite topcoat.

Do any of you use Seche Vite top coat? I use it because it makes all my polishes shine brighter, but I literally can peel off the entire nail of color when I use that topcoat. It is rather irritating. Do you know of any better topcoats?

Lastly I have to say Sephora's marketing technique of sending samples with their orders works! Almost all of the beauty products I purchase from Sephora, I had already tried from one of their samples. About two weeks ago they sent me a sample of their Perfecting Coverage Foundation in Medium Camel. I was never a foundation fan before using this product. Once I tried it, I was hooked. It evened out my complexion and made my skin look air-brushed.
It is thick and creamy and goes on thick as well. I use my Sephora foundation brush around the creases of my nose and under my eyes, but I find it easier to apply with my hands a light layer on my cheeks, chin, and forehead. I am going to try and teach myself the popular stippling technique of applying this foundation if I find the correct brush to use.

More product reviews to be up soon!
As most of you know the Naked 2 Palette released on Sephora's website today. I bet it sells out quickly. The colors look much softer, and better for everyday wear. I also like how the brush is double ended.

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far! I had a great time last night with two friends from high school. We went to a trendy little Chocolate bar, where I had a Tiramisu Ice Cream martini! It was very good, and full of flavor, but a bit too sweet for me. I also had a couple bites of a macadamia nut loaded blondie bar. It was great seeing you girls, Ali and Katie!
Sweet dreams!
