There are some moments in life that if put in a film - people wouldn't believe them.
Tris (husband) is a massive Brentford FC fan.
I was too - until we got married. But I figure I've done my time freezing my bits off on the touch lines of lower league sides eating rubbish pies and drinking Bovril.
I think I peaked last February when I accosted former Brentford Manager Andy Scott over breakfast whilst on a Sheffield mini-break. After that it was time for me to walk away.
Anyway back to the story in hand. On the afternoon of New Years Eve, Tris went to Griffin Park to watch Brentford vs MK Dons while I went into London to drink lattes at The Royal Festival Hall. As Tris took his seat in the stand, 'Rocking all over the world' by Status Quo was rockin' the stadium, just as they had rocked Wembley when they opened Live Aid back in 1985 (well almost).
Tris glanced at the man he was sitting next to - and blow me, it was Rhino Edwards 'The Quo's' base guitarist (and huge Brentford fan). Tris did a double take and then thought "You couldn't make that up!"
