Happy Women’s Equality Day!

Today marks the 95th anniversary of when American women finally won the right to vote. Which sounds like a long time, but it’s still hard to believe that there was a time in the 20th century when women were denied this basic right.

Even more unbelievable, 95 years later, we still have a ways to go to reach true equality. Just take a look at the male to female ratios of CEO’s, senators, representatives, or governors, and you’ll see that the positions of power in our country are still overwhelmingly male.

The good news is, we have made progress, and as long as there are women who keep pushing the envelope and not giving into societal pressure, we’ll eventually break through that seemingly elusive glass ceiling.
