Get Your Personalized Natal Chart!

An astrological natal chart of your birth can be very useful in your personal life. Not only because it explains all of the different aspects of yourself according to the day you were born and what position the planets were in but you can also find out the planets that rule different aspects of your life and compare them to the different energies we experience on a daily basis. It might sound complicated, and it really is, but the general gist of it all is pretty easy to understand. A really useful website that breaks everything down in a "astrology for dummies" kind of way is Carol Barbeau's Website. My favorite site to get my natal chart from is Cafe Astrology because they make it super simple. You technically could get a book or something and calculate the position of each star and sign and moon and planet on your own, but hello we have the internet for a reason! The information you need to get a completely accurate birth chart are your date of birth, the time of birth and as close to the exact location as possible. For those who don't know the exact details such as time or place, if you know you were born in North Jersey and have a feeling it was at a certain time you can always go with that and still get a pretty accurate report. I am a sponge for this kind of stuff but I think that's because it runs in my blood. As far back as I can remember my mom was always asking people their birthdays so she could figure out their sign and I find that I do the exact same thing! Also useful for mapping the chart of your children!  Another great way to use it is to see how you interact with other people by entering your information and theirs. It doesn't always have to be for romantic purposes but that also comes in handy :]  Anyone who really knows me has probably had me look up their birthday at some point or another, or if you've been to my house my mom has probably forced you into reading from the Birthday Book out loud.
I will post my own here so you can get an example of what information they show you:
(I'll just pick some of my favorite info they give me because they reports are super long)
I was born on Oct 22 1989 at 1 pm in Elizabeth NJ

This is what my chart looks like with all the symbols for the zodiac sign in the outer wheel and the Planet, Asteroid and Nodes in the form of symbols inside the wheel. They are all marked with what exact position they were in both in the wheel and that tiny little chart down there.  In the chart below this is the break down of each planet, asteroid and node and also the 12 houses, and the corresponding zodiac sign!

The Sun represents vitality, a sense of individuality and outward-shining creative energy.
Sun in Libra
It is natural for you to question tradition. You are, above all things, an individualist. You naturally rebel against that which is established. It doesn't mean that you consistently break all the rules, but you definitely do question some of the rules, especially those that simply don't make much sense. You possess a huge distaste for routine. You work best when you have some say as to when and how you get things done. You possess much self-integrity. You avoid labeling people and are most offended when others attempt to label or stereotype you.
You easily embrace new ways of doing things, you stick up for the underdog, and you express yourself in unique and inspiring ways. You don't have to try to stand out as unique--you are original, creative, and progressive without trying.
The Moon represents the emotional responses, unconscious pre-destination, and the self-image.
This is a rather creative position of the Moon. At the very least, Moon in Leo people want to create and entertain. They can be rather lazy at times, and a little bossy too. Generally, though, they have a deep need to treat others fairly and justly. Lunar Leos require lots and lots of love and care in order to function well in the world. When they feel slighted, these people can be dramatic in their emotional displays. When their pride has been hurt, they are given to big scenes and sulking.
Venus represents an interest for emotions and values, exchange and sharing with others.
When Venus in Sagittarius people are in love, they need to feel they can grow and expand their horizons through their relationship. They want to learn new things, and experience everything together. These are idealistic lovers who want you to appreciate their beliefs, visions, and ideals. They can be a confusing mix of the lighthearted and serious. They are roamers and seekers, and don't commit in their relationships as easily as others. Venus in Sagittarius men and women turn others on with their big smiles and laughs, their jokes, their grand schemes, their dreams, and their friendly, flirtatious behavior. They pride themselves on their open minds, but you may notice they can be judgmental too.
The ascendant is a symbol of how one acts in life. It is the image of the personality as seen by others, and the attitude that one has towards life.
In the case of Capricorn Ascendants, these were the children who were considered the responsible ones. Sometimes, it was they themselves who looked around them and felt the need to be the structured, dependable, and responsible members of the family. So, often, Capricorn rising people adopted a strong sense of tradition, family, and responsibility at a very young age.
Anyways I'm sure you don't want to read all about ME and you'd rather read about yourself or your kid or your mom or your dog or your boyfriend... so have fun :]
