...give me a break. Break me off a piece of that Kit Kat Bar!
This is a friendly public service announcement to let you all know that Shades of Shayes will taking a break for the next couple of weeks.
You all may notice that posts have been somewhat lacking in length and creativity over the last couple of weeks and it's because I am quite simply burnt out. The Easter pageant finished on Saturday and I really should've stuck with my plan to take today off because I am so very tired.
I need to take some time to sit back and reevaluate the blog. When I return it will hopefully be with more inspiration, more coherent/interest posts, maybe some sort of posting schedule so you -- as readers -- know what to expect, as well as some exciting announcements.
But fear not. The Saga of Office Boy will still be occurring this week. But that's because right now I'm not the one writing things. I'm just typing up the things that Office Boy writes, which makes my job for those posts pretty darn easy. Office Boy will be taking a break next week (translation expect absolutely no posts from Shades of Shayes next week), because he will be traveling for work.
So this is just a note to say that I love you all, and I'm not abandoning you permanently. I just need some time to recoup and collect my thoughts.
