I think it’s safe to say that there have been few New Year’s celebrations (at least in my memory) where so very many people were so very happy to see the old year go, but for all its faults and losses, 2016 had some incredible moments…
…and before it goes, I think we should all take a moment to appreciate them. It will make the new year that much sweeter to end this year on a positive note.
On a global level, here’s a little help from CNN: Dear world, I wasn’t all bad. Signed, 2016.
And I’m sure you all have your own personal pleasant moments (feel free to share them below).
So in these final moments of 2016, of course, look with hope toward 2017, but remember, for all its (HUGE) shortcomings, 2016 brought us plenty of joy…
