Glasses Face

Hello lovelies!I was recently contacted by the lovely Tina over at Firmoo who asked if I'd be interested in trying out their range of glasses. Many of you don't know this but I actually wear glasses, I used to wear them in public since the age of 10 and felt uber self conscious in my awkward teenage girl phase and as soon as I could put contacts in, I saved the glasses wearing for indoors, lazy 'not going anywhere' kind of days. So to even have a photo of me wearing any on the internet is conquering a fear of mine. Maybe it was because I never found a pair that really suited me until last year haha! Anyone with glasses will empathise, I used to hate having to choose a new pair of glasses, being stood with some random sales lady and my Mam both watching me awkwardly and getting impatient in deciding on a pair and just choosing whatever I felt looked OK-ish for the sake of time and discomfort. It's a lot different going into a place by yourself and taking the time to really try out a pair as the attention isn't really on you and you can do it out of your own accord. Anyway Firmoo have this cool option online of uploading a photo of yourself so that you can see how the different pairs are going to fit, which is handy for someone like me who has a small face and a biggish nose, as usually different styles cater for different face shapes, eye shapes etc. As the pair of glasses I have at home are your usual black and tortoise shell, I thought I would take the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and experiment by getting a pair that is a bit more 'out there' and quirky so I decided on these gorgeous blue and brown ones as I was really drawn to those the most when I was browsing. They arrived really quickly and I was happy to receive them in this really cool case that is based on an old world map (I'm a fan of unusual glasses cases too, so it fit my personal taste perfectly!).  I tried them on and I absolutely love them! I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the colours looked and with them being a big size, I didn't think they'd fit my face properly but they really framed my eyes nicely, so I am very happy with this result!
They have a 'first pair free' offer (excludes postage) for new customers so it is definitely worth giving it a try, especially if you are like me and fancied trying something different. If you want to read more about it look here. Even if you didn't need glasses they have the option of lenses too incase you were wanting some for fashion purposes I would definitely recommend this brand.
Thanks for reading! Let me know what you think :)
