Well, my New Year's Resolutions/Goals didn't go so well last week but I think it's pretty good that I'm still thinking about them {and want to work on them}..... that's a lot better than I've done in years past.
These are my New Year's Resolutions for 2012.
And this is how my first week went: SpiritualMonday- Read part of a scripture reading plan on my iPhone- Devotions - NO- Kids Bible story, Bible verses - NO- Bible study - N/A... doesn't start for a few more weeksTuesday - I think I read part of the daily scripture plan on Tuesday. Wednesday thru Sat. - NothingSunday - Church Family StuffMonday thru Sunday- Total fail on the less TV, less laptop, less iPhone thing- Spanish: Spoke a bit more in conversation, did not work on vocabulary with kids- Interacting w/ kids: colored w/ Bug and played w/ C quite a bit. No "homework" lessons. HouseworkI didn't stick to a cleaning schedule this week but I did figure out that setting the timer for 10 minutes per room really, really motivates me to focus and get a room clean. It takes about 12 minutes to clear the clutter from the living room & vacuum, just 5 minutes to fold and put away two baskets of clean towels, 5 minutes to clear clutter & vacuum the dining room and about 5 minutes to clean the kids room. So, I'm working on a routine here. Setting the timer and running around the house cleaning like that gets me in the mood for a work-out so I'd like to do the cleaning thing in the morning, the work-out or go for a walk/jog. I'll try working on that this week. Health & Fitness Monday thru Friday - No fitness, no diet, no extra glasses of waterSaturday - Took a nice 30 min. walk with the familySunday - NadaCrafts & ProjectsMonday - No crafts or projectsTuesday - Worked on a canvas painting, and worked on painting 2 picture framesWed. thru Sun. - NothingThis week I want to really focus on housework again. And really focus on scripture reading, exercise and drinking more water. I think that's enough to focus on for this week. I'm also determined to get Bug completely potty trained. I want her in panties all day from here on out. I have been SO lazy about training her and she'll turn 3 in two weeks. This is it. I'm not letting her celebrate her 3rd birthday still in diapers or pull-ups. My other new goal/New Year's Resolution is to continually have goals to work on and accomplish. I think it's great to constantly try and improve on things that need work. What are your goals for the week?
