Happy National Day Singapore by alittletypical
Today, 9 August is a special.
It is the Singapore National Day.
My last time celebrating National Day in the stadium was ten years ago. Together with my school mates and teachers, we gathered at the Singapore Stadium (now under construction) to watch the National Day Parade.
Love the goodies bag, parachute performance and fireworks. Felt very patriotic when singing the national songs. Just think of the national day parade, really brings back good memory.
However, as I grow older, national day becomes more of a public holiday for taking a break. The sense of belonging and patriotism do not feel the same as before.
