Happy Birthday to Me! 33 Things I Want to Accomplish in 2015!

Posted on the 30 December 2014 by Jamie Gall @50states50wines

The last few years I’ve truly come to appreciate the fact that my birthday is near the end of the year.  It makes me really sit down and reflect on the year ahead.  Yes, I make resolutions, but every year I find myself thinking of things I want to do, things I want to see, and new experiences to partake in.

Locking-the-love-lock

And the fact that I’m turning 33 makes me realize what a fun number that is.  When I turned 30 just a few short years ago I was never one of those to regret it, and drag my feet.  Instead, I completely embraced it, and knew my 30′s would be so much better than my 20′s, and honestly, it has!

So, here’s my list of 33 Things I’d like to Accomplish in 2015:

1) Partake in a Cooking class at Ramekins in Sonoma

2) Travel to Cambria for a Weekend Getaway!

3) Spend a weekend in Paso Robles Wine Tasting!

4) Walk Across the Golden Gate Bridge (there’s no excuses!)

5) Travel back home to Minnesota for the Minnesota State Fair and INSTAGRAM the heck out of it so my friends back in California can finally see what I’ve been talking about.

6) Finally go Ziplining (even though I’m really scared to do it too!)

7) Get Married (We’ve been engaged for 4 years now! Don’t you think this is the year for us?)

8) Explore Palm Springs!

9) Stop drinking Soda (This is so hard for me!)

10) Trek out to the Livermore Wine Region (Have to see Wente in person!)

11) Decorate the Apartment More (a work in progress…)

12) Learn how to frost a cake (really decorate one)

13) Drive up to the Chandler Tree

14) Go Horse Back Riding on the Beach

15) Become a Blog Ambassador for something I’m really passionate about!

16) Finally go on a Hot Air Balloon Ride!

17) Visit the cute little town of Solvang

18) Take a Photo a Day but doesn’t mean I have to share them all.

19) Send an article to a publication

20) Do some Wine Crafts (cork ornaments, cork boards, etc)

21) Spend a day at the Exploratorium

22) Try some new restaurants

23) Go on a few camping trips (including off the Sand Dunes of Bodega Bay)

24) This may not happen until 2016 but make the trek to Oregon!

25) Explore Armstrong Woods in Sonoma County

26) Discover new Hard Ciders

27) Attend some new festivals (Central Coast Oyster Festival, Taste of Solvang, etc)

28) Finally go to the Pez Museum

29) Renew my Passport!

30) Be more Open! (Start Sharing More About Myself!)

31) Spend a Weekend in Lake Tahoe! (I need more of this beauty in my life)

32) Capture more Sunsets

33) Explore more Vineyards

As you can see, all things Food, Travel and Wine…. are you honestly surprised?
