Hence I support makeup brands that care for the skin like mineral makeups. I hunt them before Happy Skin hit the beauty scene. I first tried their Don't Get Mad, Get Even Hydrating Liquid Foundation and I loved it! I really wanted to try their lippies too but I was waiting for the matte versions, so when they finally produced matte lipsticks, I put them on my list.

Happy Skin has collaborated with known celebrities like Kris Aquino and Liz Uy. They got really nice limited edition collections. Then when Preview Magazine celebrated its 20th anniversary, they launched the #imaPreviewGirl collection (Happy Skin X Preview), a kit contains 2 shades of Matte Moisturizing lipsticks, Hot Stuff and Too Cool. When I saw the colors, I said to myself, "these are the shades I've been waiting for them to launch" .
I bought mine from Watsons in SM Makati during the . I got a limited edition makeup pouch (not in the photo, will post on the update), it was their GWP *gift with purchase* when you buy 2 lipsticks.
Happy Skin X Preview comes in a reusable box that resembles a small book. You can use it as a display or mini storage box. I like to keep them there, I return the lipsticks to the box every after use.

Happy Skin X Preview: Too Cool Matte Moisturizing Lipstick
It's a nude pink with blue undertone. It looks different with other people depending on their skintone. To some it appears nude beige or even darker. I'm really surprised and didn't expect it'll look good on me.
One thing tho, this shade can make my teeth pronounced yellow. After a few hours, just like the issue with light colored lippies, it can make the lips look dry by settling on the crevices of my lips. It can be avoided by exfoliating first and conditioning your lips with a lip balm.
I wore very minimal makeup, just BB cream and curled my lashes to test how it can make a difference with how I look. Based on the photo, I can tolerate minimal makeup with it as I didn't look too washed out but it'll be better to wear more eye makeup and blush to pair with Happy Skin Too Cool.
Happy Skin X Preview: Hot Stuff Moisturizing Matte Lipstick
This is the kind of red that you can wear day to night. There are reds that I find too much for a day makeup look but Happy Skin Hot Stuff is great to wear anytime of the day. I thought it's close to but I'm wrong. Hot Stuff is darker and I personally prefer than Viva Glam I.
True to its claim, Timeless Red. It's a shade that you can wear even without eye makeup. See how it brightens my face and how I looked like I have complete hours of sleep even if this photo was actually taken at 3:00 in the morning? XD
Overall, my money was well spent in this collection. I thought Too Cool will not look flattering on me based on reviews but I was wrong. I liked it! Hot Stuff is my current go-to Red lipstick, day and night.
They are the creamiest lipsticks I've had so far. Glides on my lips like butter but gives true matte finish. Hot Stuff seem to transfer a lot though but you can try "set it with powder and tissue" technique. Allow it to set too before you eat anything for extend longevity. When it fades, it leaves a nice tint on the lips, so you won't worry with your lips looking bare. Happy Skin cosmetics being skin friendly is just a bonus with their quality makeups.
