Happy Thanksgiving: What Are You Thankful For?Hi Loves

I just wanted to take a moment to say Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by; it seems like the older I get the quicker the years go! This is the time of year when I really take an inventory of what I am most thankful for. And this year one of the things I am thankful for is YOU! Whether you read my blog regularly, stumbled upon it by accident, or read it through other websites, I am thankful that you took a few moments of your time to read what I have written. So I wish nothing but the best for each of you. And I thank you for your support!

The holidays can be hard; especially when some of us are struggling with various problems in this game we call life. Whether its family problems, financial woes, or relationship problems, none of us are immune from not-so-happy moments. We all struggle with something! Some of us dread the holidays simply because we desired companionship and someone special in our lives. I do understand that we all have desires and wants that are currently in limbo, but I’m a firm believer that if we continue to focus on the things that we don’t have, we will never fully appreciate the things that we do have. It wasn’t until recently that I learned that some single people really have a hard time around the holidays. I don’t fully understand it because in my book being single during the holidays is just like being single the rest of the year. However, I do realize that we are all human and desire love. I’m going to leave this topic alone because I feel like this is something I need to write about in the very near future (winks).

So today I’m not focusing on shopping (at least not until 9pm), dating, or relationships. I’m simply writing this brief post to encourage you to be thankful and enjoy what you do have. If you’re reading this post it means you’re still very much alive and that in itself is a reason to celebrate :) I’ll be back in full swing next week and I look forward to sharing some of my Black Friday adventures with you.

So tell me, what are you thankful for?
