Havaianas Kids have launched a cute new range of thongs just in time for the weather to start warming up.
I am not a ‘Winter Person.’ Every Spring we make the pilgrimage up the coast to the first sailing regatta of the season. Mandatory footwear is always a pair of Havaianas. A new pair is required for each new sailing season. My feet rejoice to be out of close toed shoes and ugg boots and into comfy Havaianas. This trip will be Dora’s first regatta. Of course, she will need some customary footwear.
I am excited to learn that Havaianas Kids are now selling a cute new range of My Little Pony and Transformer thongs for kids (insert excited squeal). I particularly love that these come in a gift box with a toy. This makes a perfect gift. These sets retail for $24.95.
The Transformer Havaiavas come in two colours, Optimus Prime in gray and Bumblebee in blue sky designs. The My Little Pony Havaianas set have crystal pink soles with glitter gel straps making them very girly and cute.

I am not one for having to buy brand names when I buy clothes, shoes, handbags or pretty much anything. I will go for something I like, that is comfy and that is value for money most of the time. The exception being, thongs. I just can not wear most types of thongs as the part that goes between your toes hurts me. When I first came across Havaianas years ago, I thought they would be the same. I could buy thongs for $8, why should I pay more? My sisters and friends were all wearing Havaianas. They were everywhere. I decided to ask for some for Christmas that year and to my amazement they were so unbelievably comfortable. I could wear them all day and not have a blister between my toes, or even a slight irritation.
Ever since they have been a staple shoe for me, if I can call them that. They are what I wear most of the warmer months apart from going out shoes.
So when I first saw the latest styles for kids that Havaianas have release, I was excited. Not only are they super cute, they come with a toy too! I haven’t put my twins in their first pair of thongs yet, but you can bet when I do they will be these! After all, they deserve the same comfort as I do.
