Try making a crunchie chocolate cake!
So, recently my good friend's birthday was coming up, and I had no idea what present to get him as he was turning 18, I assumed he would have everything practical he needed anyway. I thought of making him a cake as it's a gift you can give to anyone at any age. As long as its tasty and looks presentable it will go down a treat!I used Devil's food cake mix, it's pretty straight forward. All you need to go is to add 3 eggs and oil. The rest of the decorating is up to you.
I decided to buy 4 Crunchie bars and crush each with a rolling pin (which was fun) I melted chocolate and mixed that with the crunchie bits.I added this to the middle of the cake, put the top half on and proceeded to decorate the top.
I used more melted chocolate on top of the cake and decorated the outside with mini marshmallows. For a twist of humor and the fact that my friend was turning 18, I bought "sperm shaped" white chocolate to put on top, although they did not actually look like what I thought they would, they were still tasty!
The end product was a tasty present and cake!
