Good morning blog readers! As I am sitting in a cozy little cabin in the middle of the White Mountains in Arizona this morning, I am feeling a bit reflective. Today is my anniversary, and I am so happy to say that after 11 years of marriage, I can still say that I am married to a really great guy.
My husband works so hard, and our lives can be pretty stressful at times, but underneath all the mayhem, he has the kindest heart.
This entire weekend, he has tried so hard to take care of me and our kids. Just look at him making dinner for us last night. I didn’t even lift a finger.
Here’s where my morning reflective feelings come in. It’s occurring to me big time that he is always taking care of us. He may not be making us dinners very often, but really….there are little bits of caring kindness that flank every day of our lives.
I am such a lucky lady and am honored to call him my husband and my best friend. Thank you, honey, for all you do. The kids and I love you very much.
My song of the day is “Have You Really Ever Loved a Woman,” because my husband could write the “How To” book on the subject. He makes me feel so special.
