As I was typing away, the sudden realization of the blearing light from the monitor of my laptop finally got to me. The throbbing came soon after that. I'm not one who gets headaches often, so when they come, all Hell broke loose.
I thought maybe it was time to get off the computer. Maybe get some shut-eye. Snuggle up with a book under dim lamplight with a mug of hot cocoa.
Suck it up. A voice hissed in my head. Stop dreaming and get back to work.
