‘Wounds take to time heal’ she thought, looking at woman who laid sleeping beside her.
There was a bittersweet smile on her face as she thought of the emotional scars. She had been through hell with people who supposedly loved her. They told her she was an abomination to all things holy and the devil had to be exorcised from her. They chipped away, changing her into their own image. It all stopped when she saw her, true love at first sight.
“And my wounds are finally healing” She thought, thankful to the one who loved her.
