Disclosure: I will be attending this play during opening weekend. I believe in it, and think it’ll be a great show.
Heathers: The Musical is the darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, the brainy and beautiful misfit (originally played Winona Ryder) who hustles her way into the most powerful, ruthless clique at Westerberg High. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls for the dangerously sexy new kid, J.D. When the lead Heather kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather’s aerobicized ass… but J.D. has another plan for the bullet. As Veronica puts it in her diary “my teen angst has a body count.”
It should be a GREAT show. And I honestly can’t wait to see this rendition of Heathers, in play form. Any other huge Heathers fans out there?
