Hello 2020 & Goodbye Unrealistic Expectations

So, 2020 - what will you have in store for me? More failed New Year resolutions? A new diet plan which wont even last into February? A blog schedule that I believe will turn me into a shit hot author making my first million?

No.
2020 will be a year of general growth. I will continue to learn and better myself. Focus on my family, career and making memories - you know, just living.
Normally at this time of year I create a bucket list, I hone in on my goals and have really unrealistic expectations of how, over night, I will become the person I think I want to be. But this year, I feel quite content as to where I’m at in my life. Perhaps it’s because I’m in my thirties, perhaps its because I have finally shook that feeling of not being enough.
Instead I have grown to appreciate just what I have achieved over the past decade. Appreciating the life I have created. I think this has been the most liberating feeling of all and just highlights how powerful gratitude can be.
I want to share with you a few things that have helped me along the way, it certainly hasn’t been easy but 2020 will be the year of content, growth and happiness and all I need to do is live it.
Happy New Year all
