It’s been a long time. A lot has happened since I somehow persuaded you to read my tripe regularly.
Now, I could list all the things here and it would be a very long list, but let’s stick with top two….well three things, if you include Trump’s win. I like the guy, and I like his crazed detractors even less than I did before Iprivatized this blog almost two years ago. But I won’t be getting political in future posts. Even though I’ve learned enough about psychology to see the fault in the stars behind any negative commentor, I just don’t need the agita, the tsuris, the inconvenience or chaotic pain that comes today’s version of political discourse.
I will instead, talk about a recent MS diagnosis, upcoming trips, an aging mother (soon to be 89 and counting), how I’m still karmicsally reduced to Singledom.
And we’ll talk about my newly discovered decorative creative side and how I’ve reanimated an unloved, Texas Hill Country home and saved it from the death throes of veglect and did so with a smudge stick (it was haunted, trust me), patience and a very loud, very sure of himself, but talented contractor from South Boston.
Southie for days. He sounds like every Mark Wahlburg movie ever made.
