Don’t worry, this won’t take long. To make it easy, I’ve come up with a short list of simple guidelines to keep in mind as you sit down with friends and family this holiday.
- Do enjoy your meal.
- Don’t beat yourself up for doing so.
- Do comment on how delicious everything looks.
- Don’t comment on the calories.
- Do help yourself to a second piece of pie…or third.
Like I said, it’s short and simple. Enjoy the holiday and all that comes with it. Remember to be kind (to yourself too), and because this cannot be stressed enough, just have the pie.
