Herculean Effort…

I don’t know about you, but I’m watching the Olympics.  Not only do I route for my country, but I route for the underdog.  When you hear their stories and realize the Herculean effort they put forth, well it just makes you want to do this:

There are days, many, many days, that I don’t want to workout.  I am not one of those “peppy” people at the gym.  I do it because I don’t want to face the alternative.  However, I am working to improve this train of thought.  I have created the customary boards on Pinterest that are meant to “encourage” me.  Ha ha ha ha.  I think I prefer the funny “cards” going around the book of face that say things like “Wish me luck in the Olympics.  Just kidding.  I’m on my 4th cupcake.”  Anyway, wish me luck on my workouts.  I’m not kidding:)  I’ll pass on the cupcakes and keep pinning the “skinny” recipes.  And I will not stab you with a fork if you order a giant piece of bread pudding right in front of me.  Ahem.  I don’t know where that last thought came from.  I’ll leave you with this quote…

“In critical moments even the very powerful have need of the weakest.”  ~Aesop
