Every time I looked up, there was Sarah Bernhardt, the legendary actress, on my desk, looking completely centered and in the moment. She is the subject of several of my recent art pieces.
I looked at her and saw her determination.
I considered one of my mini-challenge goals –#23: making a pinnable image by Christine – and I thought I would combine my love with Bernhardt with the challenge. Yesterday I tried using PicMonkey and it froze my computer. Picnik used to do the same thing on occasion. I decided to use Pixlr and save Picmonkey for when I get my new laptop computer up and running at some point during the weekend.
I found a photo of Bernhardt which was taken in 1876 and therefore in the public domain. Copyright law states any photos or written material published before 1923 is in the public domain meaning they are free for the general public to use. This is why, for example, there is such a wide variety of the classics published and republished. There are no rights or authors to pay, so publishers can publish in as many editions as they feel like publishing.
I took the photo and visited Pixlr where I made three different examples of what I believe are pinnable images. Yes, they are all different and yes, I edited each of them. What I would love to hear from you is which image do you think is the most pinnable? In otherwords, which image would most compel you to repin or click over to the blog post?
Just for fun, I am going to pin each of them and see what happens “for real”. Beneath each photo is a link to the pin. You may click through to the link quickly and easily. You may like the pin you prefer or simply comment below.
This is another reason I love the Blogathon Bash. We can all make it fun in our own way!

I look forward to getting to know as many of you as possible this weekend. Here's to reaching our goals while networking, learning and having a blast while we're doing it!
