In this shot I was actually lying on the ground, listening to the almond trees. Who me, eccentric?
It's funny. I have been taking selfies for years so for once I am ahead of the game when this is the "Year of the Selfie"! Ha ha ha.
I have done three 365Day Self Portrait projects and the last one was in 2010 so there you have it!
I went back through my facebook profile photos since I figured my favorites would be there. I had almost forgotten the incredible power in this group of photos as well as the experience itself, nestling amidst blossoming almond trees, finding one that had fallen and blooomed, perhaps all at once.
I may go back there soon and look for it.
I like foggy almond orchards, too.
Anyway - here I was in March, alone in transcendence with my friends the almond trees.
