This is it. The end of one journey and the beginning of another. Today has been weird in a really wonderful way. I feel anxious and excited and nervous and terrified and happy and probably every other adjective in the English dictionary.
But mostly, I’m just….content.
Thank you for offering me your encouraging words and support along the way. The e-mails, comments, and sweet messages I have received over the past nine months have been wonderful. I am incredibly grateful to those of you who have shared your own stories and experiences with me through this process.
I’ll be back soon with his name and a picture. Until then, your prayers are greatly appreciated, specifically at 11:00am tomorrow morning when we head into surgery!
