Hiking with SisterT

Good afternoon friends! Work remains busier than ever, and I apologize for the lack of posts. I've doubled my workouts, and between finding time to sleep, work, and get an hour of cardio, and an hour of weights... it is hard to find time.
Last week, in an effort to get out of the gym, SisterT and I went for a hike in Castlewood State Park. We picked a trail that overlooked the Meramec River. The views were stunning, although the trail became questionable at parts. There were stairs descending toward the river, and they seemed never to stop. Halfway down, we decided to turn around. I had to carry Darling Raquel on my back for the journey up. Her little legs were not made for hiking old stairs.
Nonetheless, we had a great time and enjoyed the excellent weather. Here are some pics...

These pictures remind me so much of Pocahontas. Sometimes we forget how amazing our surroundings are. Missouri has a lot to offer; the views at the foothills of the Ozarks are some of my favorites.

I hope you all are having a fantastic week. Stop by tomorrow for a fitness update!
