Holiday Season 2013 Wrap Up

MOODS

First week of January is in full swing and I am back at work for the second day. I tried, but at the end I could not make my holiday season last any longer. And already the past Holiday Season feels like a million years ago (it’s been less than a week) and I long for those lazy and comfy days.
To me January always feels like the longest month. You still remember all the fun stuff leading to Christmas and New Year. Yet Spring and Easter seem to be quite far away. And there are no bank holidays in sight to take away any of the ‘January Misery’. Luckily the weather seems to have gotten a bit better in London and we can even see the sun peeking out periodically. Well, only in short bursts between the rain. But that still counts, right? And it does make me feel like there is light and warmth at the end of the tunnel.

Gazing back to the past Holiday Season via my seasonal snapshots this is what my Christmas Holiday was made of:

Food and lots of food

FOOD

Lazy mornings and long naps with Diego

DIEGO 2

Candles, Christmas lights and more candles

CANDLES

More time spent with Diego

DIEGO

Lights, flowers and even flower-lights

FLOWERS AND LIGHTS

And of course Christmas ornaments

CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS

Check out these finds:

I love my Sheep Slipper Socks from NEXT.
I found Dior Bird of Paradise Bahia Nail Polish Duo in my Christmas stocking and totally fell in love with Dior nail polishes.
