Holograms: Bringing Dead Alive For The Living Dead

When Holograms Become Death Stones
Bringing your loved ones back from the dead
Saying all the things that were never said
You wished you said
You wished they said
Walking with you on adventures you never took
Looking at you the way you always hoped they would
And telling you they never left
That there was never a black hole in your chest
Swallowing every breath you ever took
Leaving you half dead with half breaths
When I die, make not a hologram of me
Joke about how you are relieved I am gone
Because our relationship was too intense
Too strong
You needed a break, from our laughable nonsense
And follies
Tolerate the pain
The same way I would
So when we meet again
We can recount the same memories
And not what was never you and and never me.
