This week is going to be the craziest work week of my life. My work is hosting two ginormous conventions in a row. One is called leadership, where consultants who are interested in fine tuning their skills come and learn. The second is called Unconventional, and this is where we are doing product releases, and it’s more of a free for all - have fun event! Our first event starts tomorrow, well we are checking into the hotel tomorrow and registration is late afternoon, but until then we will be transporting and setting up. Even though we don’t start until tomorrow, the preparing for 2 events has been out of control! My office is just full of boxes stacked to the ceiling. The ups and fedex guy must hate us. After we open every box.. we are bundling and packaging everything together, to get ready for all our consultants.
I love that I work for a company that takes this much time to pamper our consultants. It has been lots of extra hours, short lunch breaks, and tired pinkies from tying bows. BUT I am so excited to see how both events play out this upcoming week. Tuesday - Thursday we will be at one hotel, then Thursdayt - Saturday we are headed to our next hotel. I think it will be fun to stay at 2 hotels, but once again the prepping and organizing the move between the two has been chaos! It’s always hard to be away from home and try to pack things for an entire week. Especially when you are going to need to have clothes changes during the day, so I definitely need to overpack, and I haven’t packed at all yet! I need to be ready by 8am tomorrow. GEE Whiz! I need to get Shia all packed up for a week at my parents house (where she will be spoiled rotten, but I will probably need to FaceTime with her), and thankfully Jared is coming with me, so I will have a cuddle buddy. I am so grateful that he will be able to make the commute from the hotels to his work without any rough adjustments of our schedule. I have a feeling I will need a lot of strong hugs from him.

I will try my hardest to keep posts coming all week! It mostly depends on if I have energy at the end of a lonnnng work day to conjure something up. I am really terrible at scheduling posts, and I should have tried to do that, but I am an epic failure. PLUS blogger has never worked, when I schedule posts. I always have to manually do it anyway. Am I doing something wrong there? I just set the time and date and then save it, but it has NEVER worked. How annoying is that?
Also I need to apologize to some of my swapping squad. I didn’t post a Sunday Funday Swapper post yesterday. I am going to do it this week. I promise. Scouts honor. You can bite my blog head off if I don’t! Or cuss me out on twitter..
Have any of you done big work events like this? Any advice for me??
For now I plan on drinking lots of energy drinks and passing out earlier than ever before.
