As I have already mentioned, I am moving house in just a couple of weeks time!
Our new house is unfurnished, and although we do have most of the furniture we need being kept in storage from our last home, moving house always gets me in the mood to look at decor ideas...
Over the last few days I've been browsing the internet and trying to come up with some plans for the new house and how I'd like it to look.
The house has 3 bedrooms, so we'll be having one room for ourselves (Which Tyne will share with us until he's 6 months old or thereabouts), one room will be Tyne's nursery and the spare room will be an office/chill out room for now.
I'd like our bedroom to be carry a white, simplistic theme with touches of Vintage inspiration here & there....I find white so relaxing and calming, which is perfect for a bedroom.
Here are some little bits & pieces I'd love to have in our room:
Tyne's nursery is going to be a natural theme, as he loves the outdoors! (Unlike his Mummy!)
We'll be painting the walls baby blue, and painting on cloud and some grass along the bottom - we have our lovely giant wall decal from Enchanted Interiors to use which I think will really add to the "Nature" theme that we're going with....and I'm keeping my eyes open for some other bits & pieces to add in too. I'll be doing a whole post dedicated to Tyne's nursery look and how I've created once we're all settled, so keep your eyes open for that one!
As for the kitchen, I have a lot of pink kitchen accessories including a pink microwave, kettle and toaster! I'll most likely be sticking with my retro themed pink kitchen - much to Jon's dismay! I like my pink girly kitchen though and in a house in which I am now the ONLY girl, I need my little bit of pink paradise!
I think the most important room in any house though is the living room - I want to keep our living room sleek and stylish, but still comfortable and inviting.
I have been looking at these Chesterfield Corner Sofas Made By BritishChesterfieldSofas.com
I think they are absolutely stunning!! I would LOVE to have something like this for our living room.
I also love these sofa's which I think would be perfect in our study/chill out room!

I am really excited to get all moved in to our new place and start making it a nice family home for me, Jon & Tyne. I will be taking before and after pictures of course, and sharing them with you all.
The house we are moving in to is about 120 years old and quite dated, so it will be a bit of a challenge - but I'm up for it!
Have you ever made over your home?! as always, I'd love to hear from you!
