Hospital Vlog 4: Fast Recovery In The Hospital, Good NEWS!

At the back of your throat, two masses of tissue called tonsils act as filters, trapping germs that could otherwise enter your airways and cause infection. They also produce antibodies to fight infection. But sometimes the tonsils themselves become infected. Overwhelmed by bacteria or viruses, they swell and become inflamed, a condition known as tonsillitis.
From the day that I rushed myself in to the Emergency Room of St. Luke’s Medical Centre, got admitted and underwent a heavy antibiotic – I noticed a rapid improvement of my condition. I didn’t experience high fever anymore, I was able to swallow soft foods and my appetite bounced back.
They extracted some blood to do a culture test to get the specific bacteria and have it cure with specific anti-biotic. While waiting for the result, they injected me an anti-biotic and it the result was truly amazing; and so, they didn’t use anymore the result because they were able to threat my tonsillitis using general anti-biotic.
Watch the video below as the resident Doctor roves and visits my room to see my condition.
