How About a Friggin' Break?

There are moments when things go terribly wrong, and when you least expect it, they turn even worse. That's usually when you find yourself all alone. That particular moment, you expect a certain break from life, some time to replenish your energy, to rebuild your shattered hopes and rediscover new reasons to move on....hell, one reason would actually suffice. I loathe complaining about my life, so I won't bitch about any particulars, but I shall ask you, have you ever been in the position to need some help and someone, who owes you greatly, to refuse offering that help, even more to serve you some clever moral repartees on how you lead your life? I thought it impossible....but there are actually people who do that. When things were good, those people were the first to brush off some imaginary lint off your shoulders and also the first to require your assistance in...pretty much anything. So, here I am at 34, reaching a bitter conclusion, when things go wrong, we're always, and I mean, always alone. The exceptions are too insignificant to mention. The best policy would be to to NOT EXPECT ANYTHING FROM ANYONE. At least this way we wont be disappointed ...but in ourselves.
