How to Attract Abundance in Your Life Quickly

Picture this: you constantly grumble and resent everything in your life that makes you miserable. Your day automatically goes from bad to worse. As long as you stay with those thoughts, you are stuck there.

You begin to wonder how to attract abundance in your life.

What if I told you that you can turn things around?

My Mother would often say that we should give thanks for the challenges that make life such a growth experience. Oh, look, another growth experience! Thank you! Right?

But it doesn't just have to be challenges. Sometimes the simple things, the things that we normally take for granted, can be the objects of our appreciation to attract abundance.

Studies prove that being grateful on a daily basis for even one week results in benefits that last for six months or more. I personally believe that practicing gratitude works for success, happiness and to attract abundance.

But how do you "be grateful?" and attract abundance?

The opportunity for gratitude is limitlessly abundant. You can never run out of things to be grateful for, because the universe never ceases to support you, even when life seems lousy. There's always a silver lining.

I personally guarantee that around you, right now, you have more than 50 things you could be grateful for. Choosing to be grateful activates positive thoughts and feelings.

What can you be grateful for?

How about having food on the table? What about clothes? Do you have any friends? What if you could be grateful for those things you take for granted?

Thing is, if you do choose to be grateful for the small things that we tend to take for granted, then there's a pretty good chance that you will attract abundance and definitely be happier if you make it a daily habit.

If you don't know how to be grateful, start today. If you have ANY worries in your life, start being grateful today. It will powerfully shift your focus and help you resolve those problems you have been holding on to.

Starting the habit of gratitude to attract abundance

Probably the best way to start the habit of gratitude in a world that is dominated by negativity coming at us from all sides is to grab a pen and paper. This will get your cortical brain working again and take you out of the arousal state into calm composure. You'll be thinking again. Even when it feels like there is nothing to be grateful for, writing down 10 things you are grateful for is like planting a seed that will change your destiny. Maybe the changes will be subtle at first, but they'll be there just the same.

Now try making a gratitude list. Put gratitude into action and see what it does for you.

Mine would go something like this.

  1. Having a computer to work.
  2. Food on the table.
  3. Good health.
  4. Having the choice to feel happy today.
  5. Family that is supportive with most decisions I make.
  6. Having money for my medical needs and other stuff, too.
  7. Hands, arms, legs, feet, eyes, ears, voice that work well.
  8. Talent and skills I can use to make a living working from home
  9. Friends I can reach out to when I want to.
  10. Electricity that keeps the fans on in summer and running water that keeps me fresh.

And so on.

Ok, it's possible that not all of those do apply to you, but for the majority of people, most of those things are fairly modest things to be grateful for.

You see, you can always be grateful. Not because you should or you ought. But because it will increase your own personal abundance, success and happiness. Do it for yourself to transform your life and attract abundance.

If you are dealing with a challenge right now that looks like it cannot be resolved, such as a chronic health issue or a financial glitch - try and see the good in the situation. What can you be grateful for in spite of these situations? Rather than focus on the problem and expanding it with anxiety, unhappiness and frustration, why not seek the good and focus on the peace and joy that might follow and lead you to solutions?

In life, tough situations are often opportunities to learn and reset. And the more reasons you find to be grateful, the sooner you will find the way to better times.

Attract abundance by keeping a gratitude journal

When we acknowledge what we appreciate it gets us out of "whining" mode and right into "happy" mode, increasing our vibration. And with that, we draw more of the things we're already happy about.

Did you have a good meal today? Or yesterday?

Are there people in your life who would miss you if you were gone?

People you would miss?

Express gratitude.

Can you see? Hear? Walk? Talk?

Express gratitude.

Is today a beautiful day? Did the sun appear when it was supposed to?

Express gratitude.

Do you own or have access to something, anything, you enjoy? A book, a piece of clothing or jewelry?

Express gratitude.

I am pretty sure there will be plenty to write in your gratitude journal.

Why write them down? There's something about the writing process that makes things so much more real. You've probably read all about the power of written-down goals. Well, gratitude, especially as a path towards greater prosperity and abundance, works the same way.

Then watch what happens. Your vibrations will go up. You'll feel happier. Things start working better.

Attract abundance using the law of detachment

Yet another way to tap into abundance is by letting go - using the law of detachment. Sounds odd, doesn't it, that when you want to attract abundance you must detach from it?

By definition, attachment indicates a tie or a bond. In life, it has its emotional roots in scarcity because it is fear-based - you are holding on to something because you are afraid to lose it - your dreams, your relationships, your money.

Can you feel the sense of resistance here?

Whichever way you look at it, resistance does not help increase abundance and wellbeing in your life. In fact, it results in just the opposite.

In fact, the law of attraction states that you attract the thoughts, feelings and words you radiate into your life. So, if you hang on to something because you are scared to lose it, you end up wanting to control it as you think you can't live without it. This will result in more scarcity and less of what you want.

My take on this is-when we expect good things, we tend to put in the appropriate effort to get them. When we resist - we block them.

Making the conscious choice to let go of fear-based attachment can come from a place of love and acceptance and appreciation - as you let go of control and fear-based expectations. Rather than calling it detachment, call it the law of positive expectation and belief.

Consider doing the following:

  • Have faith.
  • Being in resistance leads to resistance. Stepping into ease creates ease. So, ease up. Relax. Don't force things.
  • Practice holding dear vs holding tight - whether it is your relationships, your career, your money - anything you desire. This powerful shift from fear-based to love-based will mold your life.
  • Let go, but don't lose your focus. Continue to visualize, imagine, create, and intend from a space of love and positive expectation - the law of attraction won't let you down; you can count on it like you can count on gravity.
  • Focus on feeling good, and let go of focusing on life's limitations. Instead, turn to joy and excitement, or peace and serenity. Believe that life will unfold for you, especially when you allow it to. A flower can't bloom if you hold it in your fist, can it?

So now, how about a quick inventory of your life. Think about your fear-based attachments. Make the conscious choice to shift towards a loving sense of detachment. Then allow life to unfold.

Either way, you can be assured that as long as you keep whining, you'll keep swatting any incoming signs of prosperity away like flies. So, stop grumbling and welcome all the good that will flow into your life to attract abundance.
