Selective sorting: a first step towards responsible behavior. Think about all the waste that you have. Can it be limited at all? Limit waste (what is sorted can be recycled and allow the creation of new objects, whether cardboard, paper, glass, steel). You can better manage natural resources and thus reduce air, soil and water pollution. We can try to recycle our furniture and objects (instead of throwing them away) or try to live without plastic. We suggest you recycle your old glasses and bottles. This is how you can reduce your household waste.
Household products, paints and wallpapers: why bet on new ecological alternatives?
Cleaning and renovating your interior is good, but doing it responsibly is even better. We act both for the planet but also for ourselves because household products, paints, wallpapers and glues are full of harmful and chemical substances which, in the long term, become harmful to the planet. This is called domestic pollution: note that the indoor air can be 5 to 10 more polluted than outside. Also, we should avoid the multiplication of products (one for each use). A good multi-purpose cleaner will do the trick for the kitchen, the toilets and the bathroom. A small gesture can change a lot, if you put your mind to it.Your own cleaning products?
Finally, we try our hand at making our own cleansers. Baking soda, mixed with lemon and white vinegar, is an excellent mixture for cleaning toilets and bathrooms: it can disinfect, shine and whiten in the blink of an eye. You can also use citric acid for all descaling. We move on to organic paint, a paint slightly composed of chemical substances. The latter are replaced by components of vegetable or mineral origin such as clay, chalk, lime and linseed oil. Ingredients are added with natural pigments and water. And finally, we are moving towards sustainable wallpapers for the home too! Without PVC or plasticizers, toxic products, these wall coverings are produced with natural materials, respecting the environment, they release a minimum of VOCs. Add to this that they are recyclable. Finally, don't forget that there is eco-friendly glue to adhere these responsible wallpapers in the best possible way.Toilet paper: what are the ecological alternatives?
Every day the use of toilet paper on the planet equals 27,000 trees. At the end of the year, 10 million trees are felled just for the production of toilet paper. Alarming figures which increasingly push to monitor our consumption. In recent years, designer bidets have therefore made a comeback in toilets and bathrooms. There are even portable bidets! The options are endless but it is a great way to keep down the costs of expensive toilet paper. Alternatively, you can use recycled toilet paper or use only a couple of pieces of paper instead of a big handful.K Elizabeth xoxox
