What constitutes a relaxing experience? What is your relaxation ideal, the one thing that soothes and comforts you like nothing else?

Many believe that the first step involves coming home from a long day at work and stepping into the tub. Nothing beats settling into a warm tub for an evening soak to relieve stress and soothe tired muscles. The warm water, the massaging therapy of a good deep clean, then scents and sounds of rhythmic lapping waves and assorted soaps and essential oils… why even bother going to a spa, when we have such decadent experiences right in our own homes?

Such relaxation isn’t difficult to come by; in fact, we’ve come up with some great tips to get you started. This is how to bathe the right way for the most relaxing experience ever.

Relaxing Bath

The key to this experience is to RELAX! That can’t be done with the constant ringing of the phone. so turn it off. Turn on some soft and soothing music and grab a book if that’s what you are into. The purpose here is to disconnect with your problems and float away on a river of nothingness.

Make sure the water is not too hot as this can severely dry out your skin. Soak in the water for a few minutes to allow your skin to soften and absorb moisture.

Now comes the time to create the bath that you have always wanted!

Add some rose petals for a sense of wellness and fragrance.
