Disney bounding came about because adults are not permitted to wear fancy dress costumes at Disney Parks for safety reasons, and so Disney Bounding allows adults to have fun with creating Disney inspired looks - cast members and guests alike are usually very familiar with Disney bounding, and it can create a great opportunity for conversation and fun interactions to enhance your visit.
As a Plus-sized woman I was nervous to embrace Disney bounding but honestly? After a few attempts, consider me obsessed! Its so much fun to put together outfits and see the reactions from characters in the parks, it really does add such a fun element to my trips and it makes for some wonderful photo opportunities too - even my kids, who are permitted to wear actual fancy dress costumes in the parks, love to get involved with a Disney bound!
