How to Earn Gift Cards by Searching the Web

I have a huge online shopping problem. Sometimes I get home and there's a box by my door, and I have no clue what could be in it.  Luckily, there's a website that lets me supplement my online shopping budget so checking my bank account, after I see that box, doesn't sting so much. It's called Swagbucks. Do you remember it? It was a pretty big deal a few years ago. For some reason back in the day, my searching fizzled out and I stalled at 200 points, never to be swaged again.
But all this changed with a reminder post from Carmen @ Life Blessons. (If you like Jesus, or homemaking or good old fashioned blogging, you need to visit Carmen's home on the web.) In the last two weeks I have been making Swagbucks my search engine of choice. This is made even easier by the fact that you can change your google search bar at the top of your browser, to Swagbucks. Now I search the web and don't even realize I'm using SB until I get a popup saying I've won 7 or 10 or 30 bucks! Awesome!
I think my favorite prize so far is the $5 Amazon gift card for 450 points. My friend Amanda (if you have a 101 in 1001 list, she's your gal) pointed out that some prizes have seen some inflation, but the Amazon cards have not. Some other gift cards include Chili's, Starbucks, Paypal, and the Boyfriend's favorite, Cabela's.
If you haven't heard of swagbucks, go ahead and give a search a try. You just might be earning your way to some of your favorite things!

You will be winning points and getting swag in no time!
Do you use Swagbucks? What's your favorite method of earning points? Have you cashed in big time? I'd love to hear about it in the comments!
