안녕하세요 people. Haha. So I’m just going to do a brief post on how to get you application of leave approved. If you’re from KMTPh, it might be useful for you. LOL. Anyways, if you have not already know, the lady at the student affairs department (HEP) widely known as M.A.M.A gets all cranky and irritated when someone asks to go back for the weekend. So this time, after numerous experiences, I decided to apply leave for this weekend through a different approach. Maybe some of you already know but hell I’m still gonna post this up anyway.
Step 1 :
Clearly you gotta have a logical and valid reason on why your application of leave. Try not to lie as it’s a sin. LOL. My reason to go back this weekend is to attend my cousin’s wedding ceremony. It’s from Friday night till Saturday night so I took the whole weekend off.
Step 2 :
Ask you parent to write a darn letter and attach any proof/evidence. For wedding’s like mine, you could attach a copy of the wedding invitation. If your parents’ are illiterate, you could probably ask your older sibling / guardian for assistance. If there really is no other choice, write and sign the letter yourself (never ever do this, just don’t go back at all if can’t come up with a letter). Make sure there’s your parent’s signature and phone number at the end of the letter just in case the college wants to ring them for verification (which they almost never do).
Step 3 :
Look for Ustaz Rusuwan when he’s alone, without M.A.M.A near him. Do not approach M.A.M.A. I repeat, do not approach M.A.M.A. The chances of getting your application approved is a mere 3%. Even if it does get approved, you’d get a series of nagging and scolding from her. It would suck big time. Moving on, according to many, it is easier to get your leave approved by Ustaz Rusuwan. He is a nice guy, do not fear him LOL.
But unfortunately the letter that my dad prepared was addressed to the principal of the college. After reading the letter, Ustaz asked me to head up to the main office on the second floor and pass the letter to the office. If you’re in a situation like me, we’ll move on to step 4. Or not, 3 steps would do the job. Haha.
Step 4 :
Go up to the main office on the second floor. Fyi, I’m typing this out of experience. Approach the receptionist at the counter and tell her that you have a letter for the principal. By the way, the receptionist is a really nice young lady. Fear her not. LOL. She would probably ask you to go pass it to the principal’s PA. I was super blank at that time, no idea where the PA’s office was. The receptionist helped me instead, she showed me the way to the principal’s PA’s office. Mind you, the main office was the only place in this college that actually feels like a college.
Step 5 :
Go back to your routine, clear your mind about the application for the day. Return the next day when you have free period to check on your application. For me, I went back this morning to check on my application. I had to wait for a while but damn it was worth waiting. The people at the main office are so NICE! Why don’t they just take over the HEP? Haha.
And this was how I got my (probably my last) application of leave approved. I didn’t have to face any grumpy, naggy lady. In fact, I didn’t have to meet or see anyone! All I did was wait
