I Am Back In KL!

Posted on the 03 May 2013 by Kimeetay @Kimee_Tay

::::: Owhmaigawd. Finally manage to complete this post thanks to daddy’s laptop. Mine is sick :(  :::::

For at least a good whole juicy 4 months!

Since I’m back in KL, with computers/laptops easily accessible, stable wi-fi, I’m bound to update more often! I’ve officially completed my Malaysian Matriculation on 30 April 2013. Actually lah, I wanted to do a post on things I hated about my college but come to think of it, why reminisce the bad when there’s always the good to talk about? :D

Now that I’m free for a couple of months, there’s so many things that I wanna do but don’t know where to start LOL. Work, friends, hobbies, license, concerts, trips. 4 months might seem like a long time right now but I’m sure it’ll be over in a blink of an eye! :O

JOB
Till date, I have worked part time twice, after my PMR and SPM. After PMR, I worked at Megakidz, an indoor children’s playground located at 3rd floor Mid Valley. Working at an indoor playground doesn’t mean that you have to take care of kids. During my working period there, I was in charged of the arts and craft section where I had to handle the sand art, window art etc. I usually work with Uncle Sam and Auntie Susan (no they are not husband and wife). Uncle Sam is the supplier of the arts and craft stuff while Auntie Susan is the full-time worker at the arts and craft section. I learnt a lot when I worked there. It was a really first time job experience :D

After SPM, I thought I would somewhere near home so that it’d be easier for my parents to pick me up etc. So I ended working at a bakery 5 minutes drive away from my house called Secret Garden (zap lap already :O). Working at a bakery is seriously tiring! The only time I get to sit is during my lunch break. Anyways, I learned a lot from there besides making bread. Haha! There was only like 2-3 other people working at the bakery so I made almost no friends. LOL. At Megakidz, there were many other part timers around my age so yeah, I had more friends there. It was a new working experience and I’m glad I worked there even though now the bakery close shop already. Pfft.

So now, I’m planning on taking on a job that requires me to communicate with people. As I grow up (haha! Like very old like that :P ), I realize that I lack in communication skills and plan to improve myself in that field. I thought of working in Starbucks :) But I’m still not too sure though, maybe I want to work there because I like Starbucks. LOL. Or maybe I should just work at a cinema. Haha. Any suggestions on what job I should try? :)

FRIENDS
To be honest, I didn’t have much friends when I was studying in matriculation college. It was hard to mix around … it’s a long story lah but I’m not a loner. Haha! Anyway, since I’m back, I would like to catch up with that handful of friends I have. I actually thought of hanging out with a different person each day but … erm … that’s not possible cause I don’t have that much friends. LOL

HOBBIES
Recently my parents asked me ‘what do you like to do during your free time?’ and I got quite stuck trying to answer them. I told them baking, cause that’s the only decent skill that I think I have. Haha. Well, I actually like blogging a lot too. In the past couple of months, I have encountered a few popular bloggers’ blogs like Xiaxue, QiuQiu, Audrey, Cheesie etc and it made me want to take on blogging more seriously. I mean I probably wouldn’t be as well-known as them in the next couple of years but they are really  inspiring and I wish to follow their footsteps! :) So back to hobbies, I guess I can call blogging on of my hobbies too ;)

LICENSE
Hahaha! I’ve gotten my P license driving but still L license for my motor. After getting the hang of driving, I wonder why in the past I kept on pestering my parents to allow me to take motor license. Pfft. I plan to complete it by this month!

CONCERTS!!!
Weeee! I’m going to concerts more often. Hahaha! On May 12, I’m going to witness 2013 Asia Super Showcase!
I Am Back In KL!
There will be Shinhwa, SNSD a.k.a Girls Generation and AOA a.k.a Ace of Angels and I can’t wait to watch Girls Generation live in less than 2 weeks! The tickets just arrived at the doorstep this morning. LOL. I’ll be going with Jon the Bro and his mates.

Another performance that I would be going is Sungha Jung’s ONE NIGHT ONLY live performance in Kuala Lumpur! *fangirl for a while* Hahaha! Quick intro in Sungha for those who have no idea who he is (shame on you :P ), Sungha is a South Korean acoustic fingerstyle guitarist who has risen to fame on Youtube! Go google him yourself lah. Haha! Check out his Youtube channel here!
I Am Back In KL!
Dad bought me the BEST seats for my 19th birthday present. I love my dad. Haha! I do so can’t wait to watch him perform and meet him! One day I’ll do a super long post on him lorh. About how I found out about his existence etc. Haha! 22 June is so far away! :(

TRIPS
I’m on holiday, of course I wanna go for trips (plural!) lah. Haha! So far, 2 trips planning in progress are to go to Singapore and SOUTH KOREA! I want to cover some of the cost myself, don’t want everything also my parents pay so that’s why I gotta get a job soon! Haha! I really, really, really, hope I get to go Korea! For the food, the culture, etc. Mana tau I walk in Korea halfway get to meet some Running Man cast :P

So here’s just a quick update. I really am looking forward to updating my blog more often since I’m back home :) Tata for now :B
