I bought this scarf while trawling the Paris vintage boutiques for a Birthday outfit.
The print is very beautiful, though a tad unusual, printed on synthetic fabric. My problem is deciding if it should stay a scarf, which will be lost in my wardrobe amongst an abundance of other similar items, or if i should cut it up and use it to make a stunning corset or other item if anyone has ideas…?
One of the many yet trivial problems of the fashion designer is that you never know wither to adapt an item such as this, or to just enjoy the charm and beauty of the original piece, which in its self is inspiring and a piece of fashions history.
