Ever since I started work, I have not been updating my blog much. If I work full shift (10 am – 10 pm), I get so drained out all I want to do is sleep. If I work morning shift (10 am – 4 pm), I just wanna laze when I get home. And If I work night shift (4 pm – 10 pm), I would lay in my bed till lunch time before getting ready. Haha. I’m that lazy. Anyway, this post is just a quick update on what I’ve been up to ツ

Well as you can see, I’m a Switcher now – for almost 3 weeks. I love working at Switch a lot. I met tons of nice people there like Stef, Yen Fang, Ikhwan, Yee Zeng, Nadia, Nabila, Kamil etc. As for now, I love working in the same shift as Ikhwan, Yen Fang and Stef the most. Haha. I tweet a lot – mostly about work and other interesting events in life so do follow me at @Kimee_Tay on Twitter if you’re interested in my daily blahs.

As for my sales performance, the last update was 26 July 2013. I have sold a total of 51 items (iPhones, iPads, screen protectors, casings etc) which totals up to RM 27 687. And I have worked for 91.24 hours. Haha. There’s a system for everything in Switch from punching in and out, to banking in. It’s amazing!

I guess I could do a post on my colleagues when I have the time. They are a bunch of awesome people! The supervisor of Switch LM and Switch The Mines switched, so now our supervisor is Michael Wee and a lot of people don’t really like him. Pfft. Haha. I’m okay with him cause I always drive him nuts with my stupidity, lameness and weirdness.

Everyone needs a break once in a while so last weekend, Eu Joe and I headed down to Singapore for the weekend. It wasn’t a very well planned holiday and  there was a situation with Eu Joe (LOL) so I guess I was really patient that weekend. Haha. I learnt a lot that weekend, and also it was quite an adventure.

Fun stories done. Time for angry stories. Haha. Last Tuesday (16 July 2013), I received 2 text messages from some unknown number.

MU 004

MU 005

At first, I was scared when I read the text (wtf). But then I got really pissed off. This text message is clearly sent by someone from Kolej Matrikulasi Teknikal Pahang (the college that I went to and hated so badly) because there was ‘mama’ mentioned in the text. M.A.M.A is the lady in charged Student Affairs department.

I was really curious and angry because I have left the college for more than 2 months and out of the blue someone sends me this kind of text message. Mind you, ever since I left the college, I rarely, almost never mentioned anything about my college in Facebook or Twitter. I keep trying to figure out what comment this anonymous fella was talking about but nothing came up.

I was wondering whether I should reply to the number for some identification but Stef told me to just ignore it. Well almost everyone I sought help from told me to ignore this text. But God created me as a curious kid so I tweeted about this, in hopes that someone could tell me who this is. Cause if I don’t find out who sent me this text, I probably couldn’t sleep that night. Haha.

Thank God for 2 followers on Twitter who replied me with the owner of this number. The number belonged to Cik Wan Nordiana – head of Student Administration Office.  I started hating on them (head of Student Administration, lady in charge of Student Affair department and many others from the college) because of one horrible incident that made me cry. Hmph. Don’t want to talk about it liao.

Anyway, today I found out about what prone her to send me that text. Haha. Feeling smart and superior for a couple of minutes. LOL. As I have mentioned earlier, I haven’t been on my wordpress for quite a while. Last time, even if I don’t have time to add a new post, I would find a couple of minutes to check my stats.

Last week, there was a day where I have exceptionally high views. Not my ordinary stats. That day was a Tuesday – 26 July 2013 – the day I received those annoying text messages. And on that day, the post with extraordinary views than usual was the How To Get Your Application of Leave Approved in KMTPh post. That’s when everything clicked together.

Someone in KMTPh must have some how found that post from at least 6 months ago, passed it around and it reached the head of Student Administrative office lady. I reread the post to see what mean things I have wrote and the meanest I found was :

  • . . . M.A.M.A gets all cranky and irritated when someone asks to go back for the weekend.
  • . . . didn’t have to face any grumpy, naggy lady.

That’s it. What I have posted on the How To Get Your Application of Leave Approved in KMTPh post is based on my experience and honest judgment. And because I know I’m going to post it online, where anyone can see it, I avoided real names and nasty words.

Dear ‘anonymous’ (LOL), I think you are really narrow minded and have no positive outlook in live. It’s true M.A.M.A gets all cranky and irritated when I ask to go back for the weekend. It’s also true that she’s grumpy and naggy. I’m sure many other students of my batch agree with me. And because you get all sensitive with the words ‘grumpy’, ‘naggy’, ‘cranky’, and ‘irritated’, you send me a text message asking me to delete it. Did you send any text message to the other girl who called M.A.M.A big fat mama the other time? It’s not a very smart move from someone like you with such a high position in a college. My advice to you is to accept my words (or leave it), learn from them, and let the rest of the people judge whether I’m right or wrong. You also asked me to tell it straight to the person. Erm. If I say ‘you’re grumpy and naggy’ in front of M.A.M.A, either she wouldn’t hear it cause she’s nagging at me (haha) or people will think I’m some rude kurang ajar kid. Which I’m not. Some things are not meant to be said in front of a person. But if they happen to come across a mean comment on them, reflect from them. That’s all I have to say and I hope you don’t come sending me another text message if you happen to read this blog post. I’m not bringing anything down from this blog. So . . .

Know what, I hope those sensitive narrow minded people reads this. Haha.

Finally, I got accepted into a university! It’s NOT Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) that I have talked so much about. Haha. For the German double degree programme that I wanted, I had to send in a separate application along with motivation letter and recommendation letter. I asked the director from my college to write me one but he took such a long time to do it I found out that I got a place in School of Material and Mineral Resources, University of Science Malaysia (USM) before the recommendation letter arrived.

usm

I was so focused on UMP that I totally forgot that I applied to USM too! I’m gonna be an undergraduate student of USM in Mineral Resources Engineering soon! 4 years in Penang, everything will be great. Wish me luck ツ
