I’m in a Work out Funk!

Graaar!

When I got home from work today I really didn’t want to work out. I even procrastinated by doing random chores around my house for a while. Then I thought about the Summer Running Streak and how I’m 9 days in. I don’t want to mess up before 10! So… I made this grumpy face, which made me feel a little better and hit the pavement.

I did the 1 mile road by my house, out and back. For a grand total of 2 miles toward my streaking.

It’s pretty nice. I know that if I start running at my neighbor’s house with the red rose bushes, run all the way down this street to the back of Star Market, then back to the house with the roses it’s exactly 2 miles. Easy Peasy.

After my run I did this tabata workout again.

I’m in a workout funk! For the last few days every workout has been a challenge. I can’t get through my normal workouts, like 30 minute treadmill runs, 60 minute elliptical sessions, and my saturday long runs. I’m trying my best to just push through, but it’s getting kinda frustrating.

I did this tabata blitz hoping that it’d go quickly and I’d get a little more fitness in, which I did. But I can’t figure out what’s up?

My hormones are kinda crazy right now {thank you womanhood}, maybe that’s what’s draggin’ me down? I don’t know but I hope I can get back to my usual fitness routine soon. I like working out and not wanting to workout is not floating my boat!!!

Lunch

Lunch with the co-workers. Today we went to Wendy’s, which is my favorite fast food place to eat at because their salads are crazy yummy!

I had the full BLT Cobb salad which is packed with spring mix lettuce, hard boiled egg, tomato, chicken breast, and bacon. I order mine without blue cheese and I get Italian vinaigrette dressing instead of the avocado ranch.

These little healthy swaps make this heaping salad 500 calories. I LOVE healthy swaps.

Snack

Again…

times those chocolates by 3. And after my workout I chomped this apple so fast I almost didn’t get a picture.

250 calories.

Tonight I have summer league basketball practice so Max and I wont get to makin’ dinner until about 7:30. I saw this recipe on one of my favorite blogs this afternoon and we thought it looked so good we’re going to make it tonight!!

I don’t know if we’ll get the recipe up tonight, but definitely check back tomorrow. It looks tasty tasty.
