I'm Not Ready for Friday

Posted on the 01 June 2012 by Gandbblog @GandBblog
Happy Friday blahday. I am kinda bummed it's Friday.  It's my vacation and I don't want it to end! Noooooo! Dramatic, much?  Even though I don't like this Friday, I will celebrate. It means weekend is still here and that's like a mini-vacation for all of us. Join me, won't you? {one} I thought the Bachelorette was very dramatic this week. Talk about a gut wrencher. We had men who left their sons and couldn't stay away. We had dances and KISSES! Finally, Emily kissed someone, and who better than Arie? I actually really like him too. I still love Charlie, but gosh that Arie is somethin. Also, Sean is coming up on my list too? How all-American would that couple look? Oh Emily.   {two} This week I tried a new ice cream from Publix. Does anyone else shop at Publix? I have heard it's more expensive, but the atmosphere is just better than Kroger or Wal-Mart, and also I am addicted to their fruit salad and sub sandwiches. I may go get one again today! Oh, but this is Caramel Praline Ice Cream. It's brown sugar flavored ice cream with caramel drizzle and praline pecans. A southern girl's dream!  {three} I got a TAN! Kind of. I am fair skinned, so tanning takes a whole long process. Here goes. Burn slightly on day 1 by staying in the sun for 10 minutes without sunscreen. Then lather on sunscreen. Stay in sun for another two hours in the water. Day 2 is wearing sunscreen staying out for two hours. Day 3 is wearing sunscreen staying out for one hour. Day 4 is wearing a lower SPF sunscreen and get a little color! Woo hoo! That's a lot of work, but it works. No more pasty white! I do limit this and also moisturize to keep the tan longer. Also, Jergens helps too. They have a great gradual tanning lotion that I use to beef up the color some.  {four}  The hubs and I are thinking about moving to a two bedroom apartment {finally!}. We are excited to decorate, purge, donate, move, all of the above. When you're a newlywed, you tend to just work with what you have until you get established. Also, being smart with your money and resources is good too. Using alternatives like thrifting, sales, Craig's List, garage sales, etc. helps you get some great finds without donating {its a good cause, right?} your entire income to Pottery Barn and Ikea. We looked all over last night online for sales at Target, Home Goods, and Ikea. I cannot wait to finally have a home. A home that we built together ♥.  via via via {five} This isn't really about this week, but my birthday is on Tuesday! I will be 26. Yikes. I never thought I'd see the day. Well, I did, but not so soon. I still feel 20. Does anyone else feel this way? No matter how old I get, I don't feel older...I hope it stays that way. I would hate to feel 26, however, that feels. But my B-Dizzle will be fabulous. I am getting some CLOTHES and TOYS that I have been eyeing. That's what celebrating is for, right? Things? Yeah right! I have everything I need. My health, my family, my new baby niece, a wonderful husband, the list goes on and on!     High Five for Friday!  Linking up with Lauren.
