Last night, I made a quick decision to sell my iPad. I have been wanted an iPad mini since Jared bought one a few months ago. I have a technology jealousy issue. Whenever J gets something newer than mine, I pout.. a lot! After I realized I could sell mine for $220 and I could get a brandon new mini for only $80 - I listed the sweet baby!
Within a matter of minutes, I had a text. Here was our convo:
"Do you still have you iPad for sell?
- "Yes, it's still here"
"I'll buy it"
-"Awesome. I'll reset it, when would you like to come grab it?"
"Can you meet me in Midvale" (about 20 minutes from my house)"Can you??"
-"Sure... would 1/2 an hour from now work, we can meet at the Grocery Store off 72nd."
"I can't drive, can you come to my house."
-"No. I am not delivering the iPad and am not comfortable coming to your home."
"I can't meet tonight then, can you meet tomorrow?"
-"Can you drive tomorrow. I'll be home from work around 7pm"
"7pm is late...""If you can come down to $200 then I will find a ride tonight"
At this point I just wanted to kill this person. I was so annoyed that he/she wanted me to drive to their house and I was also getting other offers.
-"I am not coming down in price and delivering. Sorry it didn't work out"
"No please you already promised you would sell it to me.""Is it still available?""Please hold it until tomorrow."
-"I am not coming down in price or holding the iPad for you. I have other offers, please stop texting me."
"You promised."
I didn't respond, because J and I were laughing at the responses and I didn't have anything else to say. This morning I wake up to a text from the same number.
"Is your iPad still available?"
