I wrote a number of reviews in print magazines—Art in America, Modern Painters, ArtReview—this fall, only a few of which have surfaced online. If for some reason you find yourself in art bookstore, look for me, I’m the one who’s not supposed to be there.
Two that have include my review of Jessica Rath at Jack Hanley, and D’Ette Nogle at Clifton Benevento, both of which appeared in Art In America.
Read them if you dare, but at the very least, check out the two artists, especially if you’re in California. Nogle (picture above in a still from a video work) is LA-based, and Rath currently has a show open at the Pasadena Museum of Art.
