Local Newspaper online. When a headline grabbed my eye...
Baby dropped in field by tornado dies; toll at 39 and it brought tears to my eyes. I remember reading the original article on how this baby was the only survivor of the family, that the babies siblings and parents had died in the horrific wrath of the deadly Tornadoes that had ripped thru the States.

To see that this baby had passed on just broke my heart. I couldn't help but think that its a very real possibility is all of our lives that something so horrific could happen. To you, To Me, To my Children.
For the past several months I have read, researched and read some more on all the impending doom that is possible in our lives. Stemming from the "2012 World Coming to an End" hype it became a-lot more than that 12-21-12 will be our doom.
I learned about financial collapse, food shortages, inflation, super volcanoes, earthquakes, and every other possible thing.
It made me start to think, at what cost would you go to protect your loved ones. Your Children. Something as simple as taking out a loan or refinacing your home to build even a small "safe room
" underground could save your lives.
Me, I would give the world to protect the two beautiful little girls that GOD has given me.
When the "2012" Hype Started to Swarm in my Panic Driven OCD Mind, I found TONS & TONS of Articles, Blogs and WONDERFUL people that just like myself would give the world to stay safe if anything happen, and they have started to prepare.
With all the headlines in the news this days why is it that more people are not becoming prepared for the ever possible things that lurk in our futures? Even if you dont believe in the "End of the World" there are VERY REAL things that happen everyday that we could use a little preperation for ie: jobloss, natural disaster, loss in hours, sickness etc.
Currently I do not own a house, I am a renter, which lives limited options in the preperations I can start to do. Which has lined up my next goal of making a purchase of a home in which I will have a supply & safe room. Also along with my "Mental Illness" and my inability to work we live on a very limited income- which makes my preperations a little slower, but I DO PREPARE, at every chance I get, whether it be just one extra can per variety on a trip to the grocery store.
