If You Really Knew Me

So I know I usually do my Thankful Thursday post on Thursdays, but I have been seeing this post everywhere and I always want to jump at the chance for my readers to get to know me better. There are just some things you may not know, and why not share it? It's all for the cause. The cause of love? I am not sure, but here goes nothing...
  1. My mom used to dress my sister and I in matching outfits. Apparently, my mom had to join too. Adorbs.
  2. I love Steven Curtis Chapman to this day. Growing up I only listened to Christian contemporary music. So not the case now, but I still like his music. I guess I was just hooked.  3. I really don't like taking pictures, but when I do I am the best at posing. Obviously.  4. I sing T- Swift best in the car with a lollipop microphone. That's the only way to do it, right?  5.  If I could be a college student for...I don't know...my whole life. I would!  6. I once cooked an entire Thanksgiving meal by myself and all from scratch. Honestly, I will probably never do that again. 7. Shortly, after getting married we moved to a loft style apartment. It was awful. Roof leaks, bats, dog poop everywhere on the grounds, and seriously loud partying neighbors. Not to mention inescapable mold year round. Seriously, terrible. Looks great though, and completely would have worked in theory. 8. I seriously hate conflict and confrontation. I once went to a hair stylist who nearly burned off my ear with a flat iron and I did not say a word because I didn't want her to feel bad. Seriously, how warped is that? I just hate for others to feel bad, even if I get hurt in the meantime. Its a great quality to have and a dangerous one. I have gotten better since then, but I seriously just like for everyone to get along and be happy. It also takes me a long time to get over things, especially an argument. I get so invested in it, it takes a lot for me to let it go.  9.  I am deathly afraid of anything that flutters, aka butterflies! They are scary and ugly and I don't care if they are 'harmless'. They are terrifying. 10. I definitely struggle with confidence when meeting new people. I know I may not be awkward, but I feel like the most awkward person in the room. I don't know why, but I have just recently developed this the past couple of years. Maybe its my quarter-life crisis...
Well that is all for now. I hope you enjoyed getting to know me a little better. If you are a blogger, you should definitely write some derivative of this post. It's cool to see who bloggers really are!
be thankful today for who you are.
