Image of the Day: Onlookers

Posted on the 04 December 2017 by Belinda Mccarthy @b_mccarthyphoto

You know when it's love when there's kissing without caring who is looking! Just like at this wonderful wedding at Sherborne Abbey in Dorset, where the bride and groom were delighted to share an impromptu kiss outside the Abbey, much to the delight of the locals and tourists who happened to be passing by.

As a wedding photographer, I'm there to photograph all those wonderful moments that you share together on your wedding day. I've been in attendance at too many weddings where the couple have ended up having lots of fun, but not necessarily managing to see much of each other until the end of the evening! It's such a shame.... and it means that there will be fewer pictures of you together, too.

I've said it before, but it's well worth saying again. You and your other half will have one wedding day, and it flashes by so fast that you'll almost be giddy by the time it's over. Make the most of every moment. Kiss whenever you can. Keep hold of each other's hands, so that you are rarely parted during the day and are able to share the excitement together, rather than mingling at opposite ends of the room. Laugh, dance, enjoy, celebrate. After all, this is what you've spent months if not years planning, is it not? So, make every second count. And who cares who is looking when you steal a kiss from each other - in fact, if you have an audience, make sure you kiss all the more!
