Today's Image of the Day is all about.... the first kiss. And this one, photographed a couple of months ago at a wonderful outdoor wedding ceremony at Maunsel House in Somerset, is a belter!
As a wedding photographer, capturing that first kiss is a high priority - and also it's vital to be on your guard, as sometimes that kiss as they are announced as husband and wife can be all too fleeting! That wasn't the case with this wonderful first kiss... the bride and groom made sure that first kiss after the wedding vows really counted!
If you're getting married soon, then it's a good idea to talk about that first kiss before the big day. I know that having the collective eyes of all your wedding guests on you as you go in for that kiss can be a worry.... but remember, this is a once in a lifetime moment, so forget about everyone else. Just lock eyes with your new husband or wife, marvel at the fact that you've just made the first step in a new life together.... and enjoy that very first kiss on that first step of your married life!
